MyProxy Server
The Myproxy server of the ASC Grid has been designated as
myproxy.ascportal.org
Client software for loading a proxy onto the server is installed
on the WUGRAV machines nirvana.wustl.edu and harpo.wustl.edu.
A proxy is loaded onto the myproxy.ascportal.org server by
running the myproxy-init command
myproxy-init -s myproxy.ascportal.org
and entering one's Alliance/Globus certificate passphrase, followed by a
new passphrase to protect the individual proxy. On harpo.wustl.edu
users should find the myproxy-init command in their default path.
On nirvana.wustl.edu the path
/usr/people/globus/software/build/myproxy-0.2alpha3-install/bin may have to
be specified explicitly.
The NCSA backup myproxy server is
athena.ncsa.uiuc.edu. ASC portal backups can be found at NCSA :
https://athena.ncsa.uiuc.edu:447/gridsphere/servlet/orbiter and AEI:
