Hostname the hostname of the Grid resource
Popular Name a more familiar name for the Grid resource
GridFTP This states whether the resource is running a Grid-enabled FTP daemon.
Fork This states whether the resource is running a standard "fork" jobmanager service for running interactive jobs. This is generally not useful for any real production simulation as the front end machines on which gatekeepers run are usually lightweight resources.
Batch This states whether the gatekeeper provides a service for submitting jobs to the batch system of a production resource at the site. The real deal.
GIIS : Registration This tells whether the resource is configured to register with the ASC GIIS, our virtual organization's central information server. (Note this is a GRIS -> GIIS proceess.)
GIIS : queueinfo This tells whether information on the local batch system, such as the names of the available queues, is available by searching the ASC GIIS. Note that this is a GIIS -> GRIS process, in the sense that when the GIIS is queried it then contacts the GRIS in order to then pull information back.
