  • ADM_Constraints

    GRA status : approved
    Mark Miller

    Constraint evaluators in general relativity.

ADM_Constraints computes the Hamiltonian (1) and momentum (3) constraints as functions of the standard ADM variables, the 3-metric (gxx, gxy, ...) and the extrinsic curvature (kxx, kxy, ...).

  • IVP

    GRA status : approved
    Mark Miller

Solves the constraints in general relativity in full 3D following the York-Lichnerowicz decomposition.

Solves the Hamiltonian (1) and momentum (3) constraints, using the input metric and extrinsic curvature as the initial conformal data. Works with matter through the MAHC thorns. See 'Kinematics and Dynamics of General Relativity' by J. York in 'Sources of Gravitational Radiation' ed. L. Smarr for equation details.

  • MinDist_Shift

    GRA status : approved
    Mark Miller

Solves the Minimal Distortion Shift equations.

Using BAM_Elliptic for the multigrid driver, MinDist_Shift solves the minimal distortion shift equations.

  • conf_adm

    GRA status : approved
    Mark Miller

Solves the spacetime equations of general relativity in the conformal-traceless 3+1 form.

conf_adm is a discretized solver for the spacetime equations in general relativity using the conformal-traceless form of the 3+1 equations. It is fully coupled to the matter equation solver (MAHC) in a second order (in both space and time) way.
