MyProxy Servers:
The active myproxy server for a given portal is displayed on the login page.
A proxy is loaded onto the myproxy server by running the myproxy-init command
myproxy-init -s <myproxy-server-name>

Annnouncing Cactus Simulations to the portal:
In order for a simulation to communicate with the portal one must include the following thorns AEIDevelopment/Announce (from the cvs.aei.mpg.de:/numrelcvs repository), CactusConnect/HTTPD, and CactusConnect/Socket (from the cvs.cactuscode.org:/cactusdevcvs repository). The default setup is to announce to both active portals and to use the 9296 port value for the XMLRPC server. The XMLRPC port used by a given portal is printed on the simulations list page.
